In 2016 the annual meeting of the SSM will be held within SwissMedLab 2016, the "Congress and Fair in Laboratory Medicine" at the Bernexpo in Berne.
Our Society has allocated enough time and space for all disciplines embraced by the SSM. Clinical and laboratory medicine being only part of the many fields where members of the Swiss Society for Microbiology are active. Sessions are also foreseen for prokaryotic biology, environmental microbiology, virology, and mycology.
