The Biozentrum of the University of Basel is one of the leading institutes worldwide for molecular and biomedical basic research and teaching. The newly appointed SNF Professor Médéric Diard (Biozentrum, University of Basel) is recruiting two PhD students to address mechanisms and roles of phenotypic heterogeneity in the evolution of virulence in entero-pathogenic bacteria using Salmonella Typhimurium as a model.
The two 4-years positions are fully funded.
Starting ideally on June 1st 2018.
