With its more than 500 employees, the Biozentrum is the largest department at the University of Basel’s Faculty of Science.
The newly appointed SNF Professor Médéric Diard (Biozentrum, University of Basel) is recruiting two PhD students to address mechanisms and roles of phenotypic heterogeneity in the evolution of virulence in entero-pathogenic bacteria using Salmonella Typhimurium as a model.
The two 4-years positions are fully funded.
Starting ideally on June 1st 2018.
