The
virology section encompasses a broad variety of interests, ranging from basic
research to diagnostic virology and from clinical interest to federal regulation.
In order to provide a platform for the exchange of of news in the field,
the commission has successfully organized several technical courses for PhD, MD,
DVM students as well as meetings for young researchers in virology.
Complementary
knowledge of its participants is being united in the ongoing program “Virtual
virology in Switzerland”.
